We are pleased to announce an automatic bursary scheme for undergraduate applicants to any Engineering degree offered by the University and most ‘Science’ degrees including Maths*, Animal Behaviour, Biosciences, Geography, Geology, Psychology, Sports Science.
The bursary is worth £1500 off the total 2011/12 tuition fees.
The award is automatic. Applicants do not need to submit a further application, but should simply meet the following eligibility criteria:
1. Achieve the academic (overall grades and any subject specific requirements) and English language conditions of their offer and provide evidence of this no later than 31 August 2011.
2. Make Exeter their firm choice via UCAS no later than 30 May 2011.
3. Register as an international student for fees purposes and join the first year of an
eligible programme in October 2011.
Offer holders who achieve academic grades equivalent to GCE ‘A' Levels AAB or better will be entitled to a further award of £1000 making the total award worth £2500, subject to meeting eligibility criteria two and three above.
Students progressing from the INTO University of Exeter Foundation are also eligible and will be required to achieve a distinction (70%+) to receive the higher award. Those eligible for a higher award will receive confirmation by email after their
offer has become unconditional. Awards will be deducted automatically at registration for eligible students. Awards are renewable annually subject to performance. Further details will be sent to students when their award is confirmed.
* Applicants to BSc Maths with Business / Accounting / Management, the BSc Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography) or BClin Clinical Science course are not eligible.
Postgraduate applicants have not been forgotten. There are also a number of awards for Masters applicants to Engineering, Computing and Maths including £5000 International Academic Excellence Scholarships and £1000 English language awards to support pre-sessional attendance.
